Ingredients:
- 1 kg fresh king crab
- 2 liters of water
- 1/2 onion
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 3 fresh chili peppers
- 2 turnips
- 2 bunches of Thai basil
- 2 bunches of lime leaves
- 3 carrots
- 1 beetroot
- 2 tomatoes
- 2 bok choy
- 1/2 cucumber
- 2 limes
- 2 tablespoons of fish sauce
- 2 tablespoons of cooking oil
- 1 tablespoon of sugar
- Salt, pepper, herbs (optional)
Instructions:
- Cut the king crab into bite-sized pieces, rinse and put them in a pot with the water.
- Finely chop the onion, garlic and chili peppers, then add them to the pot with the king crab.
- Add the turnips, beetroot, carrots, tomatoes, bok choy and cucumber to the pot and bring to a boil for about 10 minutes.
- Add the lime leaves and Thai basil to the pot and simmer for an additional 2 minutes.
- Add fish sauce, cooking oil, sugar, salt and pepper to the pot and stir well.
- Turn off the heat and let the pot sit in a cool place for 5 minutes to allow the flavors to blend.
- Squeeze lime juice into the pot before serving and garnish with herbs.
