The Alaska Prime is a direct importer of wild-caught fish from Alaska's cold northern Pacific waters — one of the world's cleanest, most sustainably managed fisheries, with zero farming involved. Every fish here is flash-frozen at sea or at certified processing plants, locking in freshness and nutrition from the moment it's caught.
You'll find our Alaska fish on the shelves at MM Mega Market, An Nam Gourmet, Nam An, and Organicfood — trusted retail partners that back up our commitment to full traceability, from ocean to table.
Here are the five Alaska fish varieties we import and distribute:
Black cod is the premium pick — rich, buttery, and so tender it practically melts. It's a staple in Japanese fine dining (think miso-glazed sablefish) and a favorite among chefs who want a fish that forgives a little extra time on the heat. Available as portion-cut fillets, large fillets, steaks, and whole fish in several sizes.
Wild-caught, never farmed, sockeye salmon is known for its deep red flesh and firm, meaty texture — plus one of the highest omega-3 counts of any salmon species. It's our best-selling fish by far, available as whole fillets and portion-cut fillets.
Halibut brings firm, white, almost boneless flesh that holds up beautifully whether you're searing, grilling, or steaming it. A go-to for anyone who wants a clean-tasting fish that's hard to overcook. Comes as portion-cut and large fillets.
Pollock is our most everyday option — mild, versatile, and usually sold pre-breaded (classic white breading or a crispy potato-flake coating) for a quick, no-fuss weeknight dinner that's still packed with protein.
Not to be confused with black cod — Pacific cod is a true cod, with lean, flaky white flesh and a mild flavor. It's the fish you want for classic fish and chips, chowder, or anything pan-fried.
