About Vietfish 2026

Vietfish 2026 — the Vietnam International Fisheries Exhibition — is running August 19–21, 2026 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) in Ho Chi Minh City, organized by the Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP). Now in its 27th year, this edition carries the theme "Innovation and Sustainability" and is the largest in the show's history: over 14,000 m² of exhibition space, 568 booths, and 335 businesses from 17-18 countries and territories. The show comes as Vietnam's seafood exports keep climbing — nearly USD 5.8 billion in the first half of 2026, up 12.7-12.8% year-over-year, with the industry eyeing USD 12 billion for the full year.

This year also marks Vietfish's first Hosted Buyer program, bringing importers from key markets to meet Vietnamese businesses face to face, and Norway's first-ever National Pavilion at the show, with 11 leading Norwegian companies and organizations taking part — both signs of the exhibition's growing international footprint.

The Alaska Prime at Vietfish 2026 — Booth Hall A-902

The Alaska Prime is exhibiting at Vietfish 2026 from Booth Hall A-902, showcasing the direct-imported Alaska seafood it distributes across Vietnam — with the spotlight on two flagship products: black cod (sablefish) and Alaska sockeye salmon. Both are wild-caught from Alaska's cold northern waters, never farmed, and flash-frozen right after catch to lock in flavor and nutrition.

At the booth, The Alaska Prime's team is walking visitors through its harvesting, flash-freezing, and direct-import process, while connecting with attendees, distribution partners, and buyers looking for a reliable source of premium Alaska seafood for the Vietnamese market.

The Alaska Prime's Goals at Vietfish 2026

Vietfish 2026 is more than a product showcase for The Alaska Prime — it's a chance to build out strategic partnerships across the seafood industry and open new distribution channels in Vietnam. As the industry shifts toward higher standards for traceability and sustainable sourcing — very much in line with this year's "Innovation and Sustainability" theme — The Alaska Prime continues to lean into transparent sourcing and consistent quality for both consumers and retail partners.

Conclusion

Vietfish 2026 marks another step forward for The Alaska Prime in the Vietnamese market. Stop by Booth Hall A-902 during the three-day show (August 19–21, 2026) at SECC to see the direct-imported Alaska seafood lineup in person.
