Sockeye salmon with lemon butter sauce is a dish made from grilled and marinated sockeye salmon with a lemon butter sauce. The lemon butter sauce is typically made with butter, lemon juice, garlic, diced onion, chopped parsley, salt, and pepper. Once the sockeye salmon is grilled, the lemon butter sauce is spread over the fish and allowed to soak into the meat, creating a delicious, rich, and tangy flavor that blends with the distinctive taste of sockeye salmon. This dish is usually served with raw vegetables, rice, or french fries.

Preparation and cooking time:

Preparation time: 10 minutes

Cooking time: 30 minutes

Serving size: 2 people

Ingredients:

4 pieces of sockeye salmon (about 150g per piece)

2 tablespoons of butter

2 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice

1 teaspoon of minced garlic

1 tablespoon of diced onion

2 tablespoons of chopped parsley

1/2 teaspoon of salt

1/4 teaspoon of black pepper

Raw vegetables, rice or french fries for serving

Instructions:

Prepare the ingredients: rinse the sockeye salmon pieces, pat dry, and remove the bones. Mix butter, lemon juice, minced garlic, diced onion, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper together to make the lemon butter sauce.

Place the sockeye salmon pieces on a plate and spread 1/2 of the lemon butter sauce evenly over the fish. Then, flip the fish over and spread the remaining lemon butter sauce over the other side.

Using a non-stick pan or a grilling sheet, grill the sockeye salmon on medium to high heat for 8-10 minutes or until the fish is cooked and the skin is crispy.

Once the fish is cooked, remove the sockeye salmon pieces from the pan and let them cool for a few minutes before cutting them into small pieces and arranging them on a serving dish.

Sprinkle some chopped parsley over the sockeye salmon and coat with cornstarch before serving.

Serve with raw vegetables, rice, or french fries and enjoy the delicious sockeye salmon with lemon butter sauce.
