Preparation and cooking time

Preparation time: 10 minutes

Cooking time: 10 minutes

Total time: 20 minutes

Number of servings: 4

Ingredients:

4 pieces of Sockeye salmon (about 170g each)

1/2 cup of softened unsalted butter (113g)

1/4 teaspoon of sea salt

2 teaspoons of Sriracha sauce

1 teaspoon of finely grated fresh ginger

2 teaspoons of finely grated orange zest

1 teaspoon of fresh orange juice

1 teaspoon of olive oil

Instructions:

In a small bowl, mix the butter with salt, Sriracha sauce, grated ginger, grated orange zest, and fresh orange juice until fully combined.

Place the Sockeye salmon on a sheet of paper towel and pat dry with another sheet of paper towel. Then, brush a thin layer of olive oil over the top of each piece of fish.

Heat a pan over medium heat and cook the salmon for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until cooked through.

Once the salmon is cooked, spread a generous layer of the orange ginger compound butter over the top of each piece of fish. To allow the butter to melt and absorb into the fish, you can leave it in the pan for a short time or put it in the oven for 1-2 minutes.

Finally, garnish the Sockeye salmon with orange slices and fresh herbs, as desired, and serve.
